Our Story
A small studio with a long memory
HMC COLLECTIVE LLC began in 2019 with one bench, a borrowed planer and a stubborn belief that furniture should outlive its trend.
Seven years later, from our Orlando studio, we still design every piece in-house, still specify the same mills in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and still sign off each frame by hand before it leaves the workshop. We ship across the United States. Nothing is seasonal. Nothing is disposable.

Three steps between the tree and your room
Select & Mill
Boards are graded by hand, then cut so the grain runs continuously across the front of each piece.
Join & Finish
Mortise-and-tenon joints, no staples in sight, then four coats of hard-wax oil rubbed in by hand.
Deliver & Care
Two-person delivery, assembly included, plus a care kit and a direct line to the workshop.
Materials
We only sell what we would keep
Every finish is chosen so that a scratch is a five-minute repair instead of a replacement. That is why we oil rather than lacquer, and why we keep spare hardware on the shelf for a decade.
